A little about privacy.

Event information

Event names, descriptions, organizer names, venues, addresses, and links are public when an event is published. Guest submissions require review; approved organization staff publish directly. Submitter names, email addresses, and phone numbers are used for administration and stay private. Please don’t put private contact information in your event description.

Optional sign in

Browse and submit events without an account. Sign in with ChatGPT to save events, choose preferred towns and categories, and track submissions made while signed in. Your ChatGPT identity links these records to your account; it is not displayed publicly.

We personalize your view using choices you make. We do not build hidden behavioral profiles. Organizations submitted while signed in are saved to your account for review. Approval allows you to manage their events; denied entries include the administrator’s note and can be removed from your list. Guest submissions do not create a saved organization profile. Approved staff share their organization’s draft events and venue information. Public organization email and phone fields are shown only when explicitly provided as public contact information.

Event registrations

When you register, your name, contact email, and any requested age, grade, or answer are stored privately. The event organizer, their approved organization staff, and the calendar administrator can view and export these details. Your registration confirmation link is private and lets anyone holding it view or cancel the registration. Keep it safe. Confirmations are shown on screen; no automatic emails are sent. Organizers contact attendees directly about waitlists and event changes.

Community sponsorships

Sponsor applications store your organization name, logo, website, short message, contact details, package, and review history. Contact details, decision messages, and payment references stay private. Approved, active sponsorships display only the organization name, logo, message, and website. Your private request link lets anyone holding it view your request and payment instructions; keep it safe. Signed-in requests are also linked to your account.

Payments take place on Stripe. This calendar does not collect or store card details. The administrator verifies payment and sends decisions manually; no automatic decision emails are sent. Sponsorship requests and payment verification records are retained for administration.

Review and history

We retain submitted events, organization permissions, review notes, change requests, and records of important changes so the administrator can manage the calendar. Past events leave upcoming searches automatically but remain in our records. You can remove saved events and clear preferences in My Quiet Corner.
